Who we are
dynexo provides cyber security. We plan, harden and operate networks, firewalls, servers, endpoints and services. Some mandates are projects, others are ongoing operations; in both cases the measure is security.
We have worked with machine learning since 2017, and AI-first has been our strategy since 2024. Since Nova9 that work runs on a platform of our own: operations and security can be modeled in it, watched, steered and controlled. Agents take on around 80 per cent of the routine, inside guardrails that define what machines are allowed to do. The remaining 20 per cent is judgment and stays with people. The skills stay in the company.
The company was founded in Braunschweig in 2014, financed out of its own projects, without outside investors. Florian Reinholz is the managing director. Since 2023, dynexo has belonged to DISION Technologies Group as its operations company.
Every mandate is carried by our own teams, never by subcontractors. We are based in Braunschweig.

Who runs the company.
Florian Reinholz holds degrees in mathematics and information technology and has been a hacker for more than three decades. CCIE Security since 2005. More than ten years building production security automation (bots, agents and orchestration in live environments) with his own tooling in Go, Python, C and Nim. Security is not something he applies to technology; it is the lens through which he sees technology.
He founded dynexo in 2014 and DISION Technologies Group in 2023, to which dynexo has belonged as the operations company ever since. His conviction from running systems: simplification and standardization are how security scales; AI is the layer that makes it adaptive, not the layer that replaces it.
His focus today is architecture, product strategy and responsibility for the mandates. The operational depth sits with the team.
What guides us
Sovereignty. Data, logs and models stay with you. We build no back doors into your infrastructure.
Automation with limits. Agents handle most of the routine. What they may do is set by guardrails, and every action is traceable.
No lock-in. What we build can be taken over, with documentation and a handover plan.

Start in IT security and network operations
The founding team starts out planning and running large security and network infrastructures, mostly in regulated sectors.

Founded in Braunschweig, financed entirely out of its own projects, without outside investors. The founder is Florian Reinholz.

Security gateway for OT and SCADA
A gateway for the boundary between IT and industrial control systems: protocols are terminated, inspected and only passed on where permitted, instead of handing a network through.

First work with machine learning
Models take over analysis that people used to do by reading logs, years before the vocabulary for it existed.

Platform for critical infrastructure
Architecture, network and security design for a utility structure with nationwide reach, with AI technology of our own. After two years of operational ownership, handed over to the customer in full.

Nova9 becomes a complete stack
The pieces built in-house over years come together as a full platform, with the SDK and AgentOS, and become available to customers. In the same year agents run on endpoints in production and the first complete system handover takes place.
