How we work

AI in operations means you decide where the data goes.

A model router inspects every request locally before it leaves the building, and sends it where it belongs.

Typical starting points

  • „Our teams use AI models, but nobody knows which data leaves the building in the process.“
  • „We'd like to run our own model, but the cloud is faster. Both together seem impossible.“

What we do

We put Nova Gate in as a model router between your applications and the models they use. Detection always runs locally, regardless of where the model itself sits. Masked data does leave the building. That's the point of masking: not the full plain text, but enough for the model to respond. We don't name a detection rate, because it's never complete. It keeps getting better, and for data that must never leave, there's a separate class that doesn't depend on detection at all. Zero retention applies wherever a model runs, on-premise or in the cloud. We prefer on-premise infrastructure because it gives the most control; the cloud is faster to deploy. In practice, a mix of both is the most common case, and classification of the data decides what goes where.

How we start

  1. Week 1

    Assessment

Where AI is being called in your company, with which data, and through which paths.

  2. Weeks 2 to 4

    Classification and rules

Which data may go where, what gets masked, what stays on-premise, what goes to the cloud.

  3. afterward

    In production

Your applications run through the model router. You get a regular report.

For your IT

Model routing to providers, EU cloud and on-premise infrastructure, local detection and masking before requests are sent, data classification, logging of every request.

On-premise infrastructure preferred for control, cloud for speed, hybrid the most common case in practice. Zero retention applies in every case.

No, and we don't claim it does. Detection keeps improving, but it's never complete. That's why there's also a class of data that never leaves, independent of detection.

No. Data classification decides per request where it goes. On-premise infrastructure and cloud can be combined.
